There are plenty of unscrupulous people on the world wide web, who would like nothing more than to steal all of your information from you. Not only steal it, but then sell it off to more unscrupulous individuals.

Or worse, your suckered into releasing your information out, and it’s quickly resold. That’s where spam mail comes from.

Of course a portion of this is hype and fearmongering, but despite that; internet security is essential to any business or individual.

Data is something that needs to be treated as more precious than gold. With data, with information comes power.

When it comes to IT equipment, is your information safe?

If yes, then great!

If no, you need to take care of that immediately.

An IT inventory, if it’s not stored and secured is like a shopping list for criminals. Seriously. Remember Lethal Weapon 3, the bad guys knew where the “good stuff” was in the impound lot.

If your IT information isn’t secured, the potential risk it poses is huge!
